When I run regularly
I bring breathlessness to my body.
Over time, I have seen how my body changes in response.
My lungs expand, my muscles grow,
my metabolism has the capacity to speed up.
I have understood that my body enjoys the work of running.
I have learned to welcome the constriction of breathlessness.
When I meditate regularly,
I bring randomlessness to my mind.
Over time, I have seen how my mind changes in response.
My awareness expands, my understanding grows,
my compassion has the capacity to quicken.
I have understood that my mind enjoys the work of meditating.
I have learned to welcome the restrictions of randomlessness
